Zimbabwean Dollar = Hell Dollar

Zimbabwe is an African country in distress. Zimbabwe suffers from hyperinflation, as a result of economy mismanagement and overprinting of its money supply, therefore making the currency worthless.

Hell bank notes are afterlife monetary papers used in traditional Chinese ancestor veneration. Both currencies have many zero-s and both are equally useless for transaction in real world.

Say hello to 500 million Zimbabwean Dollar
* see the fine print in the center:
on or before 31st Dec 2008 ... ...
Issue date: 2nd May 2008

500 million Hell Dollar
(at least this does not have expiry date)

100 billion Zimbabwean Dollar can buy you 3 eggs (on its release date)

* On February 2009, the exchange rate is 1 US dollar = 300,000,000,000,000 Zimbabwean Dollar. On April 2009, the Zimbabwean government decided to suspend the currency indefinitely.

Akira 思胜: i guess we will know the true value of Hell dollar one day, u know what i mean.

Matt: Interesting to know, Greece is also known as Hellenic Republic. However, the name does not suggest it's one hell of place to stay. Lots of sunshine and ouzo, it feels more like paradise.
